About Season English
Welcome!
We are a volunteer-run English as a Second Language (ESL) program based in Jacksonville, Florida. Our classes are:
- In-Person on Wednesdays, 6-7:30pm at the San Marco Community Center, 1936 Hendricks Avenue, Jacksonville, FL 32207
- Level 1 Beginner
- Level 2 Intermediate
- Level 3 Advanced
- Online on Mondays, 6:30-7:30pm, on Zoom
- Level 2 Intermediate
Our classes focus on speaking and listening skills through friendly conversation with fluent English-speaking teachers. Our curriculum includes Intercambio, Elizabeth Claire’s Easy English News, and more!
We know it can be a challenge to learn another language, but this is a great goal! We are ready to help and support you through our international community. Let’s practice English!

11/26 & 12/3: No classes (Fall Break)
12/10 & 12/17: Classes
12/24, 12/31, 1/7: No classes (Winter Break)

FAQs
You can register online anytime or in person on Wednesdays at 6pm.
No, you can register at any time. You can join a class any time between September – May.
Classes are free because they are taught by trained volunteers. There is a registration fee of $30 due after your first class. This fee pays for your books and materials for the entire year.
Yes, you can! We provide free childcare and children’s activities for ages 6 weeks – 12 years old. No children are allowed in the ESL classrooms. We also have youth activities for ages 13-17 years old.
No problem, just attend as often as you can.
No. Due to lack of demand, we are not currently offering citizenship classes. But Jacksonville Public Library and Intercambio offer free/low cost citizenship classes.
Yes you can! They can even join the online class from other countries!
